April 27th, 2008:

on Tuesday, April 29th, 2008, active chapter will be holding a Founder's Day planning meeting at Frie's Cafe at 7pm. All alumni, brothers, advisers, and friends, please attend. Thanks!

December 8th, 2007:

James Carlson is our newest brother of Phi Kappa Theta. He was initiated December 7, 2007. We all congratulate and welcome Jim into the bonds of brotherhood.

October 8th, 2007:

Congratulations to James Carlson, Nathan Davis, Nana Duffuor, Nick Holroyd, and Nick Shoemaker for making up our Fall 2007 Associate Member class.

September 24th, 2007:

Today kicks off the first day of Greek Recruitment week for the University of Cincinnati. Many fraternities, including Phi Kap, will have information tables set up outside of Tangamen (by McMicken Commons) every day from 12-2. Stop by, hang out, and meet the Phi Kaps!

September 14th, 2007:

WELCOME WEEK! Welcome in Freshmen! We, the men of Phi Kappa Theta, are happy to see a rejuvenated campus and a large freshmen class of great ladies and gentlemen that will be a great group to form the future leaders of this campus! That said, we will be having an 'Open House' unofficial event on Saturday night (tomorrow); all who would like to attend are welcome. Next, on Monday night (Sept 17), we will be having an, ahem ahem, more official Welcome Week party at the house! Come on over, meet some brothers, and enjoy yourself. Sigma Sigma Carnival:

The brothers of Phi Kappa Theta will be hosting an event booth at the 67th annual Sigma Sigma Carnival. The booth is co-sponsored with the sisters of Chi Omega. The event will be held on Saturday May 20th on Campus Green and the Sigma Sigma Commons. Please come and support our efforts.

April 24th, 2006:

Founder's Day Cookout:

The Ohio Omicron Chapter of Phi Kappa Theta will be hosting its annual Founder's Day cookout on Saturday, April 29th. The cookout will begin at 12:00pm, but as always, you may arrive earlier if you wish. The event will be at the Phi Kappa Theta house on 3322 Jefferson Avenue.

Food and beverages will be provided. Expect burgers, brats, metts, and a variety of sides. If you would like to bring anything specific for yourself and/or others, please feel free to do so. If you wish to play sand volleyball, please bring the appropriate gear.

This yearly tradition is open to all alumni and their family members. Also, we encourage everyone to contact any fellow alumni that you would like to see attend. We are currently building a contact list of our alumni, but it is far from complete, and we do not want anyone to be left out.

Spring Recruitment:

Spring recruitment has ended successfully. Ohio Omicron now has four new Associate Members for the Spring Quarter. Congratulations to Eddie Porter, Matt Doering, Reggie Philpott, and Sean Sullivan.

Girls of the Gridiron:

The brothers of Phi Kappa Theta are throwing our first annual philanthropy event called Girls of the Gridiron benefiting the Childrens Miracle Network on October 29, 2005 at the UC Soccer Field. This will be a 1-Day flag football tournament putting sororities vs. sororities. Also, in order to raise more money for CMN, we will be raffling off a football signed by ALL the Bengals and a basketball sign by Oscar Robertson. If you would like to know more about this event or donate to CMN, please contact Tom Warburg @ warburtp@email.uc.edu.

September 18th, 2005:

The 2005 Homecoming schedule is as follows:

Saturday, October 15th

12:00 pm - Homecoming Parade:
The Phi Kaps will again construct a float with Alpha Phi Omega. The parade will be from Clifton Ave. to Martin Luther King Blvd. Feel free to come and support our efforts.

1:30 pm - Cookout and Tailgaiting at Phi Kap:
All alumni, actives, and family are encouraged to show up for appetizer style foods and a grill out before the football game.

4:00 pm - Homecoming Football Game:
Watch our own Cincinnati Bearcats take on the Huskies from Connecticut at Nippert Stadium.

7:30 pm - Open House at Phi Kap:
Again, all alumni, actives, and family are encouraged to show up and enjoy some food from Montgomery Inn. After the success of last year, we will feature one of our alumni bands.

August 2nd, 2005:

The brothers of Phi Kappa Theta would like to announce the first annual John F. Kennedy Leadership Scholarship. There will be four (4) scholarships awarded, each valued at $1000. All first year males entering as full-time students are considered to be eligible. Scholarship applications have been mailed out to all incoming male students and are due no later than Friday, August 26th. If you would like to inquire more about the scholarship or if you have any questions please email jfkscholarship@ucphikap.com.

August 2nd, 2005:

Homecoming will be held Saturday, October 15th.

The Homecoming Parade will begin at 12:00 noon and the football game against Connecticut is at 4:00 pm. Family and alumni are welcome to the house both before and after the game. More details to come.

May 30th, 2005:

FOUNDERS DAY: All Alumni and actives are invited to celebrate Founders Day on April 30 at the Phi Kap House. There will be Sand Volleyball, cards, cornhole, and much more. This is a family event so please do not hesitate to bring your families. Food and beverages will be provided. Hope to see everyone there.

March 6th, 2005:

Our Picture page has been updated including new pictures from our winter formal at A Touch of Elegance. Congratulations to Audra Chadwell for being named the 2005 Phi Kappa Theta sweetheart!

February 10th, 2005:

A new alumni mailing list has been set up. This will replace the old alumni mailing list that was no longer updated and which most people did not know know about. If you are an alumni and would like to be added to the mailing list, please email webmaster@ucphikap.com, mojo@ucphikap.com (Mojo), or phikapjames@ucphikap.com (James Whitt). Also email one of the above addresses if you would like to find out what the email address is to for the alumni mailing list (We are not publicly publishing it for a couple reasons).

The webpage has been down for a bit due to problems with RoadRunner. A guy will be out to fix the line on Monday, but until then it's going to be up and down.
